Wednesday 7th November

Today we left the hotel at 8.30 am. We didn’t go to the school but instead we went straight to the palace of Versailles. It was raining that day so it was not so nice to wait outside to get in. We waited for about half an hour to get in. It was really pretty there although I thought that some of the rooms seemed a bit similiar to one another. We ate some packed lunches outside and went to see the garden. It was pretty but some people said that it’s prettier in summer and I think that might be true. Then we went to see the Queens palace. It was a lot smaller and closer to nature. I think it was nicer than the Versailles palace. Then we also went to see the Mistress's palace and it was bigger than the queens palace which I thought was a bit weird. I think I liked the Mistress's palace the most because it had great colors and nice furniture.

After that we had free time so we went to see the Notre Dame, which was amazing. It was weird to see it with my own eyes but it was beautiful. Then we went shopping.  Also our wishes were answered as we had pizza for dinner.
