On Wednesday morning the students were split
up in two groups. The two groups made
different traditional handicrafts: wooden butter knives and friendship bracelets
The groups had two hours to make their handicrafts and then the groups
switched lessons.
When the bracelets were ready, the students
gave their own bracelets to their exchange
partners. After everyone had vowed eternal friendship
with their bracelets and had their own knives,
they headed to the city center to make Karelian
rice pasties.
Wednesday was full of tradition. Like every other day of the week Wednesday taught
everyone art and
creativity.
